TOP TIP

A family ticket (if applicable) is excellent value for larger groups if there is at least one child aged 4+ with you. Choose from 2 options:
- A 1-adult family ticket includes admission for 1 adult and as many children (under 17) that you can get in the car.
- A 2-adult family ticket includes admission for 2 adults and as many children (under 17) as you can get in the car.

  • We had the most fabulous Bank Holiday Monday at Hedingham Castle. Great fun day out for people of all ages especially families, not expensive either considering the entertainment provided and the stunning castle itself. Would highly recommend. A special mention to the very lovely Ginny (Virginia) who gave us a friendly, warm welcome and also gave us an insight to the castle and its grounds. Thank you so much. We will definitely be back x

  • This was a fantastic day out. We went on the May jousting weekend. Had the best fun in a while. The entertainment was brilliant, the jousting was highly amusing, absolutely amazing watching the kids (and dads) 😁enjoy themselves with the play swords in the arena. Incredible to listen to the history from the various staff who shared their historic knowledge and showed their personal collection of artifacts. The birds of prey was so beautiful to watch. A definite must go. Very well organised. Couldn’t fault it. And the Sun finally came out. Thank you

  • Went to Hedingham Castle's Knights of Middle England reenactment, and it didn't disappoint. So much fun! Great displays from the falconry team, the knights, and a group of guys who organize a medieval-style battle for the kids to take part in, which is also nice for the adults to have a half-hour breather! 😉 There is also archery and axe throwing, all included—no hidden extras. Many different stallholders, food and ice cream vans, and volunteers showing how certain things were made in medieval times, be it food making, ironworking, woodworking, etc., and they have plenty of time to explain exactly what they're up to with great enthusiasm. Last but not least, you can either have a tour of the castle keep (via a volunteer) or just look around yourself, which is also included, so the day is great value for money.

  • “We went to a live music event last night and just wanted to say a huge thank you. You easily could have squeezed more people in but instead made it so much more atmospheric by giving us all room to dance and enjoy the night. It was absolutely wonderful. Thank you so much and thank you to the great staff. At one point we were getting some water out of the free supply and one of your lovely staff realised it was slow as next moment it was running out faster and we looked up and they were there tilting it for us and smiling. It's little things like this that make a big lasting affect. Thank you all and we can't wait for the next event.”

Cancellations & Refunds

All tickets are non-refundable. Should Government action at any time cause us to close, we will of course, refund any tickets purchased for affected days. Otherwise, we operate a no-refunds policy. Tickets are not transferrable to alternative dates or alternative events days.
