The two venues of the Norman Castle and the Georgian House provide many dining and party spaces, lawns for relaxing or playing games and an estate where your imagination can fly to create spectacular and memorable events. Hire as much or as little space as you need and work closely with us to create your dream event.

The stunning and iconic Castle means that it is an experience just coming here. Make it your own momentous setting for your occasion. The estate can host bluebell picnics, glamping villages, private jousts, lunch parties, scavenger hunts and other adventures. Use us as a base for shooting or water skiing or just let us make your party here totally unique and the epitome of fun.
Over the years we have hosted some glamorous and bespoke events from car shows and private jousts to themed birthday parties and anniversary dinners. The setting of the imposing Castle on the hill elevates every idea and concept. Utilise the sing the House, Castle and grounds, think out of the box and astound your guests.

Make a weekend of it
Naturally there is too much to do and too much to explore here, so why not make a weekend of it? Imagine hosting a cocktail party in the Castle on the Friday evening, as people gather from afar… waking up on Saturday to an adventure together in the grounds or beyond, followed by a spectacular party in the Georgian House on the Saturday night.
A lazy brunch and a walk in the woods may be all you can manage on Sunday but it will be worth it. You will have created life long memories.
